Nancy Goldman combines her experience in producing and development with the theory and knowledge gained in her doctoral studies and professional coach training.  She is currently the trainer and career coach at The “Made in New York” Production Assistant Training Program where she teaches eager New Yorkers how to thrive in the film and television industry and places them on jobs. She began her entertainment career working as production coordinator at Emmy Award-winner Linda Ellerbee’s Lucky Duck Productions.  She next worked for Emmy Award-winning talk show host, Montel Williams, rising in the ranks over eight years to become the Vice President of East Coast Development.  During that time she also became the first elected Chair of the Gotham-based Producers Guild of America East.  Goldman’s dream job was to work in a comedy club and she did that for three years as floor manager at The Broadway Comedy Club on Sunday nights.

As a search consultant at MJS Executive Search, Laurie Rosenfield(pictured in top photo) draws on an executive career devoted to the entertainment industry.  She provides clients with creative, results-oriented candidates capable of leading profitable, innovative enterprises.  Rosenfield serves clients in traditional and digital media. She specializes in recruiting leadership for program development, sales, business development and marketing across the broadcasting, cable TV and interactive/online businesses. Laurie has heldpositions at several premier firms including Senior VP of Client Services at Bishop Partners and Director in the Technology, Media and Telecom practice at CT Partners.  Rosenfield has held a variety of management, program development, and sales roles with leading companies.  In addition to establishingand managing TiVo’s New York office, she was responsible for the firm’s Network and Media Partnerships.  During her tenure with CBS Television Network, she held sales positions of increasingresponsibility in the Affiliate Relations and Network Sales Divisions.  Her 15 years of program development experience included Vice President of Development with Twentieth Century Fox and United Artists Pictures.  In addition, she is an executive and career coach, with certification from NYU and the Behavioral Coaching Institute, and is also an advisor to STRIVE, a nonprofit workforce development organization.

Moderator Jim Arnoff is a television packaging agent who represents New York production companies, developing and selling original programming to the networks. Arnoff has worked at the William Morris Agency as both an in-house lawyer and packaging agent. A certified life coach for the entertainment industry, he has lead workshops for the Producers Guild of America, National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, HBO, MTV Networks, and the Writers Guild of America.  He is also a faculty member of the School of Visual Arts and FIT.
